WolfStudy
WolfStudy is an app that allows Front Range Community College (FRCC) students to schedule and manage study sessions seamlessly. It integrates with the current course hub D2L to access course materials, assignments, and important dates. The primary function is to help students organize study groups, set study goals, and collaborate effectively. From personal experience using the platforms provided at FRCC, the goal was to redesign a study app that offered more features and effective communication between students and professors. This case study involved the following:
 • conducting research on the users
• analyzing competitors
• comparing available features
 • created wireframes
The 9 screens designed included current college colors and logos. During the testing phase the users experience was monitored through prototyping of each screen and feedback was provided

Problem Statement
Current challenges with study apps reveal a significant gap in students' ability to stay seamlessly up-to-date with assignments, engage in real-time discussions, and foster collaborative learning environments. This underscores the pressing need for a comprehensive and user-friendly application that not only centralizes assignment tracking and
Design Process
The design process began with researching the needs of FRCC students, using surveys, interviews, and studying existing apps. Then, ideas were brainstormed for features like study groups and progress tracking. Next, prototypes were created to visualize the app's look and how it works. Feedback was gathered from FRCC students to make improvements. Finally, the design was continuously refined based on this feedback, making it easier to use and better suited to student needs.
Competitive Analysis
In the competitive analysis, a comparison was made between WolfStudy and Pulse, formerly known as Presence, across several key dimensions including assignment tracking, communication features, personalization options, user engagement mechanisms, achievement recognition systems, and overall ease of use. This comprehensive examination provided valuable insights into how WolfStudy measures up against Pulse in meeting the needs of FRCC students. By analyzing each aspect, it became evident where WolfStudy excelled and where it might've required further development or enhancement to surpass or match Pulse's.
User Flow
Mapped out the user flow of WolfStudy, considering the different tasks and interactions users will have with the app. This could include:
• Signing up/logging in
• Accessing course materials from D2L
• Creating or joining study groups
• Setting study goals and reminders
• Participating in discussions and collaborative activities
• Tracking progress and performance
Wireframes
Created detailed wireframes of WolfStudy's interface, incorporating the features and functionalities identified during the design process. Paid attention to layout, navigation, and visual hierarchy to ensure a clear and user-friendly interface. Iterated on the wireframes based on feedback and testing results to finalize the design before moving on to development.
